Seeking: Director of Keith House
TO APPLY: Send your resume to bperryman@whitneysmithco.com
Company Overview: Keith House is home to James Turrell’s 99th skyspace installation, Come to Good, designed to be experienced at sunrise and sunset. Inspired by the artist’s favorite Quaker meeting house in Cornwall, England, the space invites quiet contemplation as light transforms our perception of the sky through an aperture in the ceiling. Our mission is to offer space for reflection, creative expression and community dialogue.
A gift to Fort Worth from the Meta Alice Keith Bratten Foundation, Keith House is located at the Trailhead in the Clearfork district. Nestled within a grove of trees, its setting further enhances the sense of calm and mindfulness for which Turrell’s work is known.
On select evenings, visual artists, musical performers, art historians, meditation guides, and others engage with the work in ways that deepen visitors’ experience of observing time, light, and perception slowly unfolding.
